On Wednesdays, we preview all of the upcoming new wide and limited releases hitting the theaters the coming weekend. On Fridays, we’ll now tell you what you should see. We pose two questions each week to our contributors and their responses are posted below.

1. Which of the three new wide releases would you choose to recommend above the others?
If I had to pick one, I’d go with What to Expect, but in reality, I’d recommend watching something else altogether.
2. Are there any limited release features this week that you would recommend (and why)?
I think Elena look riveting, so I’d probably go with that.

I recommend audiences see or re-see The Avengers instead of any of this week’s new wide releases.

Hysteria is getting good reviews and looks promising.

None of these are my cup of tea, but if you like these kind of films they should be good examples of their genre.

Hysteria looks like a fun little trifle for a rainy spring day.
