On Wednesdays, we preview all of the upcoming new wide and limited releases hitting the theaters the coming weekend. On Fridays, we’ll now tell you what you should see. We pose two questions each week to our contributors and their responses are posted below.

Wesley Lovell

1. Which of the two new wide releases would you choose to recommend above the others?
Undeniably Harry Potter. I can’t think of a reason not to watch this film unless you have an utter aversion to the franchise.
2. Which of the three new limited releases would you choose to recommend above the others?
Made in Dagenham has the best Oscar potential, so I have to give it the nod.

Peter J. Patrick

1. Which of the two new wide releases would you choose to recommend above the others?
No one needs to recommend Harry Potter. It has a built-in audience. See it if you want, but I recommend The Next Three Days. It looks like something above and beyond the usual chase flick.
2. Which of the three new limited releases would you choose to recommend above the others?
I recommend Made in Dagenham. Based on the true story of 1978 female revolt at a Dagenham, England Ford factory, it’s getting Oscar buzz for several cast members including Sally Hawkins and Miranda Richardson.

Tripp Burton

1. Which of the two new wide releases would you choose to recommend above the others?
If you are a Russell Crowe fan, The Next Three Days should be a solid vehicle, but I will be at Harry Potter.
2. Which of the three new limited releases would you choose to recommend above the others?
None of them look that great, but Made in Dagenham has the best word of mouth around it

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 1 because… well… it’s Harry Potter. Need I say more?
2. Which of the three new limited releases would you choose to recommend above the others?
Made in Dagenham because it’s a major Oscar contender.
