On Wednesdays, we preview all of the upcoming new wide and limited releases hitting the theaters the coming weekend. On Fridays, we’ll now tell you what you should see. We pose two questions each week to our contributors and their responses are posted below.

1. Which of the four new wide releases would you choose to recommend above the others?
This is tough because I want to see at least three of the films. Toss Faster right out of consideration, but Tangled seems like it has the most potential of being terrific fun, so that’s where my suggestion goes.
2. Which of the two new limited releases would you choose to recommend above the others?
There really is no competition. The King’s Speech is the recommended selection. It just has the best Oscar potential.

1. Which of the four new wide releases would you choose to recommend above the others?
I recommend Love and Other Drugs sight unseen, though I may want to take the recommendation back after I see it. Ed Zwick’s last sex comedy, …About Last Night was one of the worst movies of the 80s. A safer bet might be Tangled, especially if you are looking for a film to take kids to see.
2. Which of the two new limited releases would you choose to recommend above the others?
This one’s a no-brainer. recommend The King’s Speech, of course. It has major buzz, especially for Colin Firth as England’s George VI and Geoffrey Rush as his speech therapist. Whether or not it wins major Oscars, it will almost certainly be nominated for a slew of them.

Love and Other Drugs looks the most interesting to me, but all four films have their fans.
2. Which of the two new limited releases would you choose to recommend above the others?
The King’s Speech has a lot of buzz. Go see The Nutcracker live.

1. Which of the four new wide releases would you choose to recommend above the others?
Tangled because it looks like a blast and is yet another feature in Disney Animation Studio’s cap.
2. Which of the two new limited releases would you choose to recommend above the others?
The King’s Speech because it’s one of this year’s frontrunners for Best Picture.
