Another week another potential blockbuster. Disclosure Day seemed to underperform expectations but that won’t be the case for this weekend’s release of Toy Story. I would be shocked if it didn’t open north of $100 million for the weekend.

The Death of Robin Hood
Wesley Lovell: There’s little about this production that looks interesting to me.
Pete Patrick: Looks tortuous. Watch 1976’s Robin and Marian instead.
Thomas La Tourrette: I am not sure about this film, good cast but very mixed reviews. Will probably see it due to the cast.
Leviticus
Wesley Lovell: It might be ok but will need reviews to decide for sure.
Pete Patrick: Excellent early reviews are highly supportive.
Thomas La Tourrette: Horror is not my favorite genre, but the gay angle in this one adds some interest.
Toy Story 5
Wesley Lovell: The second and third films are terrific and the other two are solid, so a fifth entry should at least be interesting.
Pete Patrick: Hopefully it will be better than Toy Story 4 which did not stand up to earlier successes.
Thomas La Tourrette: I have enjoyed the other films of this series, but not sure if this one will be as good.

The Limited Slate
Wesley Lovell: Julian Schanbel gets my attention but the rest don’t.
Pete Patrick: Girls Like Girls, In the Hand of Dante, and Rose of Nevada look interesting. Maddie’s Secret and Unidentified look sluggish.
Thomas La Tourrette: None of the trailers grabbed me. Maddie’s Secret and Rose of Nevada have good early reviews, but Unidentified looks to be the best of the bunch.
