The Odyssey will win again, easily, and none of the new releases seem like they’ll even be a top ten finisher but among them, Her Private Hell is the most exotic and could be the topper of the new releases.

Her Private Hell
Wesley Lovell: It looks like a compelling concept and could be quite intersting.
Pete Patrick: Poorly reviewed Cannes Film entry is a definite miss for me.
Thomas La Tourrette: It boasts an intriguing trailer, but the reviews make it sound like a movie to skip.
Motor City
Wesley Lovell: It’s a familiar concept that doesn’t really have a lot of potential.
Pete Patrick: Noisy trailer was a turnoff for me.
Thomas La Tourrette: It plays like a 1970s revenge thriller and I have no reason to see it.
Pinocchio Unstrung
Wesley Lovell: These attempts to horror-twist Disney films that are in the public domain are so dully inspired but this one looks like it might be a cut above the others but is still not worth checking out on the first run.
Pete Patrick: Child’s Play take on Pinocchio may be the best horror idea in quite a while.
Thomas La Tourrette: Horror is just not my genre and movies using old Disney icons as the protagonists do not appeal any better.

The Limited Slate
Wesley Lovell: Not a lot of options but an intriguing option in Rosebush Pruning.
Pete Patrick: There’s nothing for me here.
Thomas La Tourrette: Rosebush Pruning looks unpleasant. Sheep in the Box looks interesting but the early reviews do not encourage one to see it.
