That Devil Wears Prada II managed to block out all comers last weekend, the mediocrity of these selections could mean another week. Of the wide releases, In the Grey has the most potential for success but also the most potential to be an absolutely flop.

OTHER RELEASES

We are only looking at films that have had trailers released on Rotten Tomatoes’ trailer YouTube Channels. Below are some other films that are releasing this weekend that we haven’t considered.

Driverโ€™s Ed (Wide)
Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway: The Sorcery of Nymph Circe (Wide)
Being Towards Death (Limited)
Diamonds (Limited)
Forge (Limited)
LifeHACK (Limited)
Vanishing Point (Limited)
The Wizard of the Kremlin (Limited)

WIDE RELEASES
IN THE GREY IS GOD IS OBSESSION

In the Grey

Wesley Lovell: Apart from liking the leads, there’s not a lot about this film that looks interesting.

Pete Patrick: Looks like a mindless glorification of violence.

Thomas La Tourrette: It might be a fun but mindless thriller, though it looks like it goes over the top in gunfights and explosions.

Is God Is

Wesley Lovell: It looks like the filmmakers were trying too hard to be outrageous.

Pete Patrick: Looks like a chore to sit through.

Thomas La Tourrette: There might be an interesting story here, but it looks unpleasant.

Obsession

Wesley Lovell: Good horror is great but the trailers have yet to impress me.

Pete Patrick: Looks like another horror movie I will be avoiding.

Thomas La Tourrette: Horror is not my favorite genre and I did not see enough originality to make me want to see this. It does have decent reviews.

LIMITED RELEASES
DECORADO MAGIC HOUR

The Limited Slate

Wesley Lovell: I am not that interested in either of these.

Pete Patrick: Looks like there is nothing for me this week.ย

Thomas La Tourrette: Neither trailer sells nor describes the film so I am unsure about both.
