Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 3 will only be getting two weeks atop the box office as Fast X drives into theaters and does donuts on Guardians‘ hull. Fast X has been one of the most dependable non-Marvel franchise since its debut twenty-two years ago (minus an entry or two). There’s no doubt it will see a debut in excess of $100 million, but $200 million is easily within reach.

WIDE RELEASES

FAST X

Fast X

Wesley Lovell: I haven’t seen any of the prior entries and this doesn’t make me want to see any of them still.

Peter J. Patrick: I have no interest in this franchise.

Thomas La Tourrette: I have only seen a couple of the Fast and Furious films and they have been alright, but this one wore out its welcome before the end of the trailer.

LIMITED RELEASES

THE COW WHO SANG A SONG INTO THE FUTURE

MASTER GARDENER

MOON GARDEN

ROBOTS

SANCTUARY

The Limited Slate

Wesley Lovell: Moon Garden has the most interesting trailer, though I’m intrigued by the narratives of Robots and Sanctuary. The others also look mildly interesting.

Peter J. Patrick: Some really weird stuff here, only a couple of which pique my interest.

Thomas La Tourrette: I listed them all as maybes, but truthfully the one that looks the most interesting is The Cow Who Sang. I’m intrigued by it while the rest leave me dubious.
