None of the week’s wide releases can overcome even the steepest drop for Spider-Man: Brand New Day. However, if there’s one that could top the others, it’s Ice Cream Man.

Wesley Lovell: I don’t know if this will be any good but it at least looks freshl.

Pete Patrick: This week’s cheap horror movie.

Thomas La Tourrette: Horror is not my favorite and this sounds especially gory.

One Night Only

Wesley Lovell: This generic looking quasifuturistic romance doesn’t have much in the way of appeal.

Pete Patrick: Silly premise but it could work.

Thomas La Tourrette: Two cute leads but there was not enough in the trailer to make me want to see this.

Super Troopers 3

Wesley Lovell: The first film was great fun but I cannot remember enough of it to decide if the subsequent films are worth checking out.

Pete Patrick: I avoided the first two, and this one doesn’t look much better.

Thomas La Tourrette: I have not seen the first two films and this one looks especially stupid.

The Limited Slate

Wesley Lovell: Teenage Sex looks like the most promising of these releases.

Pete Patrick: Late Fame and Tony for sure, with the horror comedy Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma an outside possibility.

Thomas La Tourrette: All these movies boast good reviews, though none would entice me with their trailers. Late Fame and Tony might be the best of the lot, but I will not be running out to see either one.
