It could be another week at the top for Wuthering Heights. This will test Glen Powell’s box office potential and I don’t think it’s going to turn out like producers hope.

How to Make a Killing

Wesley Lovell: With this coming on the heels of No Other Choice, it doesn’t have the same appeal.

Pete Patrick: Kind Hearts and Coronets ripoff may make for a brainless couple of viewing hours.

Thomas La Tourrette: I doubt it will hold a candle to Kind Hearts and Coronets or A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder, but it might prove fun, though the trailer was not that promising.

I Can Only Imagine 2

Wesley Lovell: Wasn’t interested in the first. Not in the second either.

Pete Patrick: For those who can’t get enough of Hallmark TV movies.

Thomas La Tourrette: I did not see the original and this just looks too schmaltzy for me.

Midwinter Break

Wesley Lovell: Apart from the stars, nothing about this film is interesting.

Pete Patrick: Genteel drama about an elderly Scottish couple on holiday in Amsterdam has limited appeal.

Thomas La Tourrette: Two strong actors might salvage this film as the trailer does not do a good job of selling it.

Psycho Killer

Wesley Lovell: I like horror but this doesn’t look that good.

Pete Patrick: This week’s overly violent horror film looks like another waste of time.

Thomas La Tourrette: It looks unpleasant.

The Limited Slate

Wesley Lovell: Neither of these look interesting.

Pete Patrick: No thanks.

Thomas La Tourrette: A decent cast might help The Dreadful but a perplexing trailer does not sell the movie. This Is Not a Test looks like one to pass on.
