Will this be the week that Spider-Man finally goes down? Likely. Coyote vs. Acme has been hotly anticipated for years and this will be its chance to finally show what Warner Bros. Didn’t think could happen.

Wesley Lovell: It’s an interesting concept but the latter trailers aren’t looking promising.

Pete Patrick: A kid’s movie for adults?  Who is this movie for?

Thomas La Tourrette: The trailers leave a sense of mystery, but not enough to make me care about the film.

Coyote vs. Acme

Wesley Lovell: It looks like classic cartoony Wile E. Coyote film and deserves to be seen after WB tried to shelve it permanently.

Pete Patrick: This one actually looks funny.

Thomas La Tourrette: It looks like a fun animated/live action film. The reviews make it sound better than I expected.

The Dog Stars

Wesley Lovell: There’s some promise but underwhelming trailers

Pete Patrick: Apocalyptic dramas are not my thing, but occasionally one comes along that is worth a look.  This could be one of those.

Thomas La Tourrette: It was an odd and disturbing book, and I am not sure how it will translate into a film. The trailer did not make it seem like a pleasant film.

Finding Emily

Wesley Lovell: The trailer wasn’t particularly engaging.

Pete Patrick: Clever looking comedy.

Thomas La Tourrette: One knows the protagonists will fall in love eventually, but it looks to be a nice if uninspiring British romcom along the way.

Idiots

Wesley Lovell: Could be fun but has an equal chance of being dull.

Pete Patrick: Looks too silly for me.

Thomas La Tourrette: The trailers did not have much humor in them and I have no desire to see this.

Thomas La Tourrette: Filipiñana looks the most interesting, a combination of Wes Anderson and some deep psychological weirdness. Might be worth catching.
